Boykin & Utley was originally formed in New Orleans in 1994.  We are a full service civil litigation firm practicing in a wide range of areas including insurance defense, products liability, maritime, oil and gas, employment and labor law, governmental law and defense, construction law, toxic tort, environmental litigation, and medical malpractice.  

Our firm provides legal services to both private and public sector clients representing them at all stages in the legal process, from pre-litigation through trial, appeal and post judgment.  We have defended and prosecuted claims for our clients and obtained favorable judgments and verdicts for them on a consistent basis.  We have also proven to be adept at negotiating optimal settlements. Our offices are located on Poydras Street, in the heart of the New Orleans’ Central Business District.  We are just steps away from the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana and the United States Fifth Circuit Court of Appeal, and only a few blocks away from the Civil District Court for the Parish of Orleans, the Louisiana Fourth Circuit Court of Appeal, and the Louisiana Supreme Court.  Our practice extends across the State as we represent clients in numerous parishes in both north and south Louisiana.
